Twisted Sister

Kolejna legenda, której absencja na tym zacnym forum spędza mi sen z powiek. Założona w Long Island w 1973 roku, z przerwami funkcjonowała do 2016. Zespół nieodłącznie kojarzony z osobą niezmordowanego Dee Snidera, który po dołączeniu w 76' przejął funkcję głównego twórcy muzyki. 'We're not gonna take it' czy 'I wanna rock' to hymny zbuntowanej, chociaż osiwiałej już, młodzieży całego świata.

Łącznie pod nazwą Twisted Sister ukazało się sześć albumów studyjnych, a sam Dee Snider od połowy lat 90 prowadzi także solową działalność artystyczną.

Swego czasu ostro katowałem Stay Hungry. Dziś już raczej do niej nie wrócę, ale miło wspominam. Innych płyt chyba nawet nie słyszałem. Obok Wasp chyba byli najlepsi w tym nurcie glamowym, bo to właściwie stricte heavy, tylko ze specyficznym wizerunkiem, nie do końca glamowym zresztą.

Popytajcie swoich rodziców a powiedzą wam, że w ich czasach kiedy leciało Twisted Sister to automatycznie czuli obiekt obły w dupie bez względu czy to mama czy tato. Co tu dużo gadać skoro to męskie granie.

Trudno uwierzyć, że nie słyszałeś nigdy jakiegoś ich hiciora. Nawet jako coverek, czy gdzieś przypadkiem.

Ale on o Lizzy Borden mówił, które słyszał, a nie o bohaterach tematu.

Nagrali dwa na prawdę dobre kawałki (Wanna Rock i We re not gonna take it), ale jakoś wolę W.A.S.P., Cinderellę czy Quiet Riot. Wokal jakiś dziwny i melodie przejechane, ale teledyski mają klimat.
