Sathanas od ponad 30 lat tworzy świetny Black/Death Metal. Nie sposób odmówić im oryginalności i wierności tradycjom. Każde wydawnictwo ma swój klimat, słychać jak się rozwijają technicznie, eksplorują otchłanie i cały czas szlifują swój oryginalny styl. Jeśli wierzyć Metal Archives mieli przerwę w aktywności w latach 1989-92. W tym okresie Paul Tucker założył Bathym który nagrał kilka materiałów. Sathanas powrócił na nowo w 1994 roku. Trendy pojawiają się i przemijają a Sathanas ciągle podąża ponurą ścieżką Black/Death Metalu. Ich teksty bazują na dość typowych satanistycznych tematach, diabłach, piekle, śmierci i tym podobnych mrocznych pejzażach. Obracają się w tej stylistyce od początku, więc wyobraźnia działa u nich nieźle by dalej kombinować i eksplorować mroczną sztukę.
Byłem na ich koncercie w Poznaniu w roku 2009. Takich koncertów się nie zapomina. Na YouTubie wisi ładnie podrasowane wideo z tego koncertu do numeru "Jaws Of Satan" z gościnnym udziałem Dona Of The Dead z Nunslaughter.Skład:
