Niemal zapomniany brytyjski zespół rockowy powstały w 1975 roku w Londynie z inicjatywy Ritchiego Blackmore'a. Przez skład Tęczy przewinęło się paru legendarnych muzyków jak Ronnie James Dio, Don Airey, Cozy Powell, Jimmy Bain, Joe Lynn Turner, Graham Bonnet czy Roger Glover.

Pięć lat temu rockowy dziadzio Riczi postanowił reaktywować zespół w odświeżonym składzie.

Z tym, że prawie zapomniany to żeś kolego przypierdolił solidnie. Jak dla kogoś zapomniane to klasykę rocka ogarnia chyba na poziomie "lubię starego rocka, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin i Black Sabbath". Zresztą Rainbow bardzo często można usłyszeć w radiu. Nie wszystko Rainbow mam, ale wszystko co mam to bardzo lubię, włącznie z bardziej komercyjnymi płytami jak Bent Out of Shape, może to taki właśnie radio friendly rock, ale numery są znakomicie napisane.

Udało się sprowokować największego rockersa forumowego - taki był zamysł

Nie wiem, czy kiedykolwiek słyszałem ich kawałki w radiu, mozliwe, że te miękkie późniejsze rocki, nie pamiętam. Swego czasu byłem wielkim fanem trzech pierwszych płyt z Dio i kolejnej z Bonnetem. Teraźniejszy klawiszowiec Purpli ładnie na niej zagrał.

To chyba bardzo popularny numer. Oczywiście kicz lat 80 prawie boli, ale uważam, że to znakomita piosenka.

Z tym, że prawie zapomniany to żeś kolego przypierdolił solidnie. Jak dla kogoś zapomniane to klasykę rocka ogarnia chyba na poziomie "lubię starego rocka, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin i Black Sabbath".

Nawet dla osób ogarniających klasykę rocka na opisanym przez ciebie poziomie, Rainbow jest zespołem zapomnianym tylko jeśli to tzw. ogarnięcie ogranicza się do noszenia koszulek ww. kapel. Pierwsze płyty Rainbow widnieją wysoko na większości toplist rockowo-metalowych.

Ja również lubię sobie czasem posłuchać Bent Out of Shape, chociaż to właśnie ten miłosno-radio-przyjazny kierunek był przyczyną, dla której Dio poszedł w swoją stronę.

Znam całkiem dobrze Rising i Long Live Rock'n'Roll. Świetne albumy pełne hitów. NIe słyszałem jednocześnie żadnego z późniejszych albumów i w sumie mi z tym całkiem dobrze.

Te "Street of Dreams" niczym wyjęte z jakiegoś telewizyjnego romansidła czy też kina akcji z TV Puls czy innego TV4. Znaczy się, że dobre, w stylu największych hitów Whitesnake czy innego Alice Coopera. Swoją drogą kojarzyłem ten wokal, sie okazało, że słyszałem już tego kolesia tu i tam.

@DiabelskiDom ie - polecam "Down to Earth". Album w połowie drogi między rozbudowanym hard rockiem, a klasyką w sam raz do radia. Do tego przyjemne klawisze i dobre wokale Grahama Bonneta. Powinno się spodobać.

R.B. gwarantuje pewną taką szlachetność muzyki, zatem warto.

Jedziemy z ziomalami, że tak powiem przed siebie i w aucie leci rock radio a tam właśnie cała płyta Rainbow w cyklu 100 najważniejszych płyt rocka. Bardzo przyjemne granko nawet w taki skwar.
