Profanation to nowy zespół z Paryża, w skład którego wchodzą byli lub obecni muzycy: Goatspell, Venefixion czy też Destroyer666.
Do tej pory wydali jedną EPkę - 6 numerów i niespełna 20 minut oldskulowego death metalu. Podstawą jest tu brudny i niszczycielski death metal,
ale nie brakuje też grindujących partii czy też d-beatu, a wszystko to podane w brutalnym i surowym sosie.
