Coffin Mulch to kolejny młody zespół deathmetalowy. Szkoci na swoim debiucie płyną na staroszwedzkiej fali, wciskając do podłogi pedał Boss HM-2W, dorzucając do tego wpływy Repulsion czy Autopsy. Ich krótki materiał odznacza się zaraźliwą motoryką, co jest zapewne spadkiem po hardcorepunkowych korzeniach muzyków grupy. „Spectral Intercession” to w prostej linii kontynuacja tego co zapoczątkowali na swoich wcześniejszych produkcjach i hołdowanie death metalowi w oldskulowym stylu. Nic nowego, ale robi dobrze na głowę.
