Iniquity to duński zespół założony w 1989 grający wszelkie znane i szanowane odcienie death metalu. Jest trochę brutal death, trochę tech death, pojawia się death doom, a całość spaja klamra gatunkowa spod znaku life metal. Teksty dotyczą spiritualizmu, śmierci i zagłady czyli nie ma tutaj brutal deathowego epatowania przemocą i krwawą jatką.
Znam debiut czyli przepotężne Serenadium. Bardzo masywne brzmienie, momentami przyprawiające o zawrót głowy. Brzmi jak wolniejsze momenty z Suffocation wymieszane z początkowym Asphyxem czy innym klasycznym death doomem 1 fali. Potem znowu riffy jak z Incantation wymieszane, jakieś tremola, techniczne wywijasy. W jednym kawałku są nawet skrzypce. Najdziwniejsza jest jednak i tak perkusja która raczej stroni od blast beatów, a rytmicznie gra jakby gościu zapisał się do kapeli thrash/death. Nietypowe, ale bardzo dobre. Hidden gem.
