D.R.I. to absolutni klasycy crossover thrashu, bawiący się graniem tej skocznej muzyki od 1982 roku.
Po 20 latach od nagrania ostatniej dużej płyty, postanowili udowodnić swoją nadal nienaganną formę, wydając epkę But Wait... There's More!, która jakością nie odbiega od kultowych już nagrań.
Sama nazwa Dirty Rotten Imbeciles padła z ust ojca braci Brecht, który w ten sposób podsumował muzyczne ambicje swoich pociech. Znanym symbolem zespołu jest wpisana w okrąg postać będąca wyobrażeniem moshującego kolesia. D.R.I. stało się inspiracją dla wielu innych znanych kapel. W tym miejscu warto wymienić chociażby Slayera, Anthrax, Dark Angel, Vio-Lence, Kreator, Nuclear Assault czy Municipal Waste.
