Zespół Nyctophagia powstał i stacjonuje na stałe w teksańskim El Paso. Początkowo w składzie były cztery osoby, ale po jakimś czasie zespół dość mocno się skurczył i funkcjonuje jako jednoosobowy projekt, za który jest odpowiedzialny Dylan Taylor-Lehman. Pod szyldem Nyctophagia łączy Grindcore i Death Metal, przy czym tego pierwszego jest tutaj zdecydowanie więcej. Na koncie ma jak na razie kilka krótkich EPek i splitów oraz jednego pełniaka "Terrified of Tomorrow". Jak dla mnie to płyta powinna być zatytułowana "Teksańska masakra piłą grindcore'ową".
Już za samo brzmienie werbla i miks całości daję mega plusa, bo mi się jakoś tak dziwnie kojarzy trochę z jedną z najlepszych płyt w tym stylu, czyli "War Criminal Views" od Nyctophobic.
